Global Health and International Relations
From October 19-21st, the Munich Centre on Governance will host a small, invitation-only workshop on ‘Global Health and International Relations’ organized by Dr. Devi Sridhar and Prof. Dr. Edgar Grande. The objective of the workshop is to discuss how key concepts in international relations and global governance are being used to study global health, and to identify gaps in research as well as possibilities for collaboration.
In particular, attention will be paid to IR research in a number of other related issue areas, such as climate change, trade, security and migration, and what global health researchers can learn and contribute from those issue areas. To reflect this, participants have been invited from various backgrounds, with only a handful of 'health' experts.
